This mod is so sweet! I've seen it done a couple of times before on USDM dashes, but I still said 
when I saw your pics!
I think I understand what is required.
1. Either a JDM S2000 Nav Unit; or a Nav Unit from a USDM Acura TL MY 00-01, or Odyssey MY 00-01.
2. A JDM S2000 Nav Screen Dash Frame, which can be modified with heat to fit.
3. If one of the 3 conversions (posted above) is performed, then a DVD or other video can input to the Nav Unit to play on the screen.
Is this correct?
Questions: Could you elaborate on how the Nav Unit is mounted? Is the Nav Screen a separate piece from the Nav Unit? Is it difficult to put in the USDM Nav info into the system? Could you post more detailed pics?

i did not performed the conversion because i wanted to have dvd and tv only. so they hacked the screen's faceplace/frame and put it on top of a regular 5.8" lcd that happened to be the exact same size
but yes if you have a complete unit (nav brain - drive - screen - and wiring) you can attach en external dvd player to play on the screen (click plug and play link above)
