I think it sucks that European car manufacturers are shrinking their "renewal periods" for cars now, much like those of Japanese manufacturers. It removes a lot of the "surprises" of having a new generation car. I don't feel that the E92 is significantly different from the E46 -- especially the interior.

I feel that if they just shove in the new bigger engines into the old chassis, then there is much about the E92, whereas the E46 had major improves over the E36 (especially the chassis).

Nonetheless, 3.5L engine with turbo ... that thing's gotta be a beast in acceleration!
