Default The journey of a 2001 ssm

Hey guys its been a while since I posted but it has been a long three months! I am going to show you the most recent photos of my car since it has been through some changes. A few months ago I was in a parking lot in my parking space and a lady in a civic backed up right into my door causing 2200 in damage, here are the results.....

After a month and a half it was fixed and looked perfect.....this is the day I picked it up at the shop

Then 2 weeks later I was in school taking finals and i came out and my car had been hit...althought they caught the guy on the camera I still was left with a broken bumper and the fender that had just been painted had to be painted again

So I decided to still take it to the big show that was that weekend even though the headlight also began to fog from the inside

The day after the show i decided to take the car apart and fix the light.....also painting the calipers again and adding grand sport stripes

I then decided to put on my ap1 lip that was going to be painted to take attention off the bumper while I had to take the car back down to florida!

Seems like your car was a magnet for bad drivers. Glad it all worked out in the end and it looks great! How come you removed the stripes afterwards?

The door was hit so they had to blend the drivers fender, new door and rear quarter......so when the bumper was hit they also chipped the paint on the edge of the fender so they had to paint/blend the fender again. The stripes had to come off, you also have to wait a month for new paint because it hasent cured all the way, so if I went to put them on it could peel the paint right off. Maybe I will in a few weeks.
