Default Korean Roadster - Daewoo "Concept"

So I was in Korea this past week. At the airport they had an interesting display. GM Daewoo is thinking about building this concept car. Its a roadster made by Lotus. Not sure who's engine they are using, but looks similar to an Elise. Just thought I'd share. If they came out with something like this when they launched in the US, maybe they wouldn't have gone under in the US....

Enjoy

That is the Vauxhall VX220. It is in the GM family, so they just rebadged it to sell it in Korea under the Daewoo badge. If I am not mistaken, it is built on a derivative of the Elise chassis.

Cool looking, though.

thats not a concept car...thats the opel speedster. i guess GM is trying to rebadge it as a daewoo and sell it in korea? its a variant of the lotus elise, based on the same platform. its also known as the vauxhall vx220 in australia. its been out for a long time...i remember driving it in gran turismo 3.

haha interesting. Wow can't believe they have had the display there for that long. It was my first time an Incheon, haven't been out that way in 8 years, last time I flew into Gimpo.
