Default Lake Mead Run

I'm working in Las Vegas this month and so I'm living in a hotel... Which is never my favorite.

But I asked around (on the LV/NV board and any valet that seemed like he knew about cars) and got a couple of ideas about where to get away.

So my first escape from LV was up to the north lake mead road (w/ a stop in fire vally)

The state is in the prosess of repaving the road so the drive is nice and smooth for part of the way and rough and narrow for the rest. I actually liked the rough part better. Seemed more desolate and cool.

I did a little boon-dogging to get down to the lake

Got a little dirty on my way out there

If anyone has a favorite road in the LV area -- please post it -- i'm here for three more weeks.

Cool pics. I like the little area below the door where it's clean from your leg hitting it. I get the same thing on my Berlina when it's dusty.

I like your rear bumper. It really accentuates the width and tread pattern of your tires. Must look so mean to drive behind your car on the free way.

What bumper is that?

It's the C-West full rear.
