I have a rack out of necessity, who would want to put a bike, snowboard, etccc......... in a car. If the civic was stock I don't think much would be said. I don't look at it as a mod.

 

 

i think its a rip off the euro trend where they put luggage racks and bike racks on super slammed vdubs with some monoblock rims. oh well, not my car.

 

suprisingly there was about three of my friends , who shall not be named, who have suggested putting a top mount bike rack on my S

personally it sounds ridiculous to me

 

um to the end the flameing...well those guys are crazy...but alot of tuners or young cats do bike..like freestyle or there good if you go to a big meet and want to ride around why not in a bike....i dont know about the kiddie bikes but deff a nice freestyle bike...please guys dont get a mongoose haahh

I don't regret becoming JDM as f**k, but I used to be a vdubber (5 classic VWs previous to the S), and the styling scene is so much better. A bike rack on a slammed rat on winter wheels would look pretty sweet (the right bike as well of course). But on a japanese car, it just leaves you thinking... wtf?

There are a couple of vdubber scene mods which I might toy with on the S, just for the hell of it. Wire wheels being one of them. I think gold wires would look pretty sick on the S.
