My car got sideswiped so im going to repaint it. im torn between two colors, LBP and BB.

btw the car will have a molded on j's halp bumper and be lower when its done so you can keep those little mods in mind when you make your decision...

well. the front bumper is messed up too. its worse than it looks in the pictures. over half the car needs to be painted. If there is ever a time to change it now is the time...

Berlina is sexy when clean and Im obviously bias, but you don't see any LBP AP1s. LBP!

 

Definately consider the weather... BB is definately hard to keep clean. Thus said... I love BB =P.

 

BB is boring. LBP is gorgeous. NFR is ok. Unless you're going to do engine bay/door jams/etc.. I say OEM. I don't know.. not having it done would kill me and it gets expensive quickly.

If I were going to repaint I'd probably go with Laguna Seca Blue or some shade of metallic green. Unique and different while adding character.

 

the door jambs, engine bay ect will be painted as well as shaving all emblems...

If i do black i will paint the ce28s black and tint the windows ect. so id go for the blacked out look...

ehh. The Blacked out look is hard to pull off looking sexy honestly. If thats where you gonna go. Go Lbp.

I have a bb. If i had all the time in the world, shade to wash my car in all the time, a wax sponsorship, a "repaint my car everytime i get a rockchip" sponsorship or if i was just rich and i could drive it just twice a week and always have it touched up, I would buy bb again.

With that said. lol I Hate but love bb at the same time. BB as a daily driver. Bad idea. BB as a weekend car........BB FTW!

Its just so hard to keep up with. It gets dirty 5 minutes after youve finished drying it. It scratches easily and rock chips show like mexican racing stripes. When youre drying it after a wash you must do so quickly or water spots just stick. The paint contaminates horribly if not washed frequently.

But when she is washed she looks beautiful for the whole 10 minutes after.

As you can see. BB is a serious commitment. Its honestly not a color. Its a job.
