Just do a highbeam retrofit and use the panamera shroud. Get a halo behind it and done.

The retrofit source sells that shroud.

I appreciate the work put into it but I'm of the opinion that LED DRL strips or any variation thereof should stay on cars that come with them from the factory. Most of the time it just looks out of place when put on cars that didn't come with them, regardless of design/placement.

Though I do like these more than the usual strip ones.

Excuse my ignorance, I usually never have to ask what a part is. Never payed much attention to lip protectors but lately thought about getting one. Which one is pictured on the car in the topic starters first post?
Thanks!

Edit: Never mind, I looked at his build thread and got my answer

LED's do not always like working in high heat, so you will likely need to do some testing to figure that out. On other cars, I have seen people replace the turn signal bulbs that exist in the headlight housings with LED modules and they typically fail surprisingly quickly due to the heat of the headlight. It will be highly dependent on the LED and electronics used and how the housing is designed AND the heat produced by the headlights .. so it may work beautifully.

I think they generally look cheap and crappy on cars that come with them too. There are exceptions, but I generally dont like them.
