Default Logo

So I had a buddy of mine come up with some logos for my garage, which I do at my house but I need a card and logo to look somewhat professional hehe. The first thing we did was do a abstract looking cam lobe that looks like its spinning, then we tried to do a Throttle body horn but it just was too abstract and most people wouldnt know what it was supposed to be just by looking at it. Here are a few images I'm open to suggestions, the third one down on the left seems to be my pick, as for color still not sure. I'm not advertising at all, I dont have a website, nor have I posted a phone number, and havent even said where I'm located, I just want advice on my logo if theres any pro's out there or any opinion is appreciated. Thanks Shock

The type face on the bottom two designs makes it look like you are opening a garage that serves champagne and caviar while your S is getting its oil changed.

From a Graphic Designers standpoint.. none of those logos convey a garage to me, the bottom ones look very nice but very corporate. The ones on the left side are not quite as corporate looking but are a lot closer. They still look more like a distribution company or something of that nature. If that is the look you are going for then for sure the bottom more lime green one looks more mechanical and with some minor tweaking in the typography could be your definite winner. All in all the logo's look nice just not quite speaking garage to me yet. The lower right hand teal one reminds me of a hospital corp. with those colors and how the logo looks, too bad you aren't opening up something in that field because thats a great logo for it.

wow thanks guys, I was hoping to get some good opinions. I'm trying to do something motor driven, since I'm all about NA. I was thinking about making the cam lobes a little fatter for a more realistic look, I think it needs more work keep em coming
