Me too, and the more I thought about it, the less strange it seemed.

I guess the first reason why this seems weird is that the evo without AWD is not really a good idea, as the car is pretty front heavy and tall. Second the Evo doesn't have a particularly large engine bay, so I'm really shocked it fit in there. With a transverse mount transmission on a trans-mount 4, I would never have thought there was space for a longi-V8 plus a rear mount trans.

But the evo chassis is exceptional. Very stiff, very easy to mod and has great steering and visibility. So as long as it has lots of power, w/e.
