Bah! I'm with your female companion on this one. That Evo, despite being a legendary car renowned for it's performance and heritage just doesn't have the same visual appeal as the S2000. It's just too "beige". What I mean is, nothing wrong with it, its a great car, just that it blends into the automotive scene so flawlessly.

If I had to do it all over again, I'd still take the S. But yes, I agree, that intercooler is menacing

The dude put the front plate on the dashboard. You can see it in the front shot.

 

Four doors, I don't care HOW fast they are, just don't cut it for me. You can't go 125mph entering a Wendy's drive-thru but you can definitely turn heads doing it. The S2000 is a head-turner. The Evo is a neck-snapper. I prefer the former.
