Someone correct me, but a while back it was stated that Comptech was using Magnaflow mufflers on their exhaust.

BTW, nice looking exhaust Ubetit

Less than the others that i have heard. It's only around 3,000-3,500 rpm's that you get a boominess especially with the top up. Cruising isn't a problem in any gear, sounds almost stock.

Hmmm.. interesting.

I have the Spugen Dual/Oval and have the same resonance at lower-mid RPMs. It only becomes an issue when I'm on the hwy and need to give it a little gas to maintain speed going up a hill or something (same applies in town I guess).

Also I can't say I would ever compare mine to stock. From the moment I hit the red button I know it's there (in a very good way of course), so I wonder if they use different versions of the muffler or the constuction method/materials account for a possible difference.

It would be nice to know if anyone has listened to both and could comment on the differences.

Mine is similar when applying a little gas. I just don't really notice my exhaust when I cruising around at 70 mph. It may be that I'm just used to it.

I like the idea of an exhaust not being noticable unless you want it to be. I think I'm going to have to pull the trigger in this one. Thanks for your help Ubetit!

Oh, one more thing Ubetit. Have you (or have you thought about) cutting out the faux vents to get more air to the CAI? Would this do anything?

Cheers.
