As dumb as they are, I kind of like the new Hummers. $51k was the window sticker on this one.

Nice! H2's are supposed to be phenomenal off road. Not dumb if you use it for what it is.

Your car looks great, too.

H1 is still the king, but i wonder now if the H2 compares off road to everything else with some sense of clearence and off road intentions? Surley it can't compete with the king, but what about everything else that's tried so far to compete among the peons?

The next time i purchase a vehicle (maybe 2-3 years when stook is payed off) I am going to go to a military auction and buy a used H1. I think you can get a good running one for 20-30 thousand dollars. I will then send it to be painted flat sr-71 blackbird black. You cannot beat its offroad capabilities.. I would never buy a civilian one, who would mess up such nice interior apppointments and paint off road? I don't know too much about this H2 but i doubt you will be seeing too many with dirt on them
Kind of like that beer commercial:
"The most offroading that thing will ever see is if it accidentally backs over a flowerbed."..... "we might as all wear skirts if were going to call that an SUV."

H1 is still the king, but reports are that H2 can keep up very well in most off road situations, and it fits places the H1 can't.

Personally I like the previous generation Hummers. I think the black rims w/ the inflation thing in the center of the hub looked way better then the aluminum rims they have now. Plus the body style lookes a little more rugged and not so modern. But they're still nice.

One of my clients just got it & the interior's much more well appointed then I thought. I'd think about one...If it wasn't for the 11 mpg he told me it was averaging.
