Default Made a Camera Mount

OK so basically all I spent on this was 2.89 at home depot. You do need a mig welder for what I did but it's accomplishable with more machine screws and nuts.
All I did was take the tow hook and put a bolt threw it with 2 washers on the underside and a piece of rubber under a piece of steel (found in garage under some junk) with a hole for the bolt on the top. Then if you have one of those screw on cameras all you have to do is put a hole on the end of the metal strip and tighten you camera down. With mine I had to keep it in place with pressure so the back piece is stationary by a weld and the front piece is the pressure plate. The wing nut tightens the 2 plates together. It

Thanks foe sharing this, I have a ghetto camera mount on the small windshield between the seats, I will post pix soon. This is very creative and I will do this for sure since I also use Sony T1 or whatever that flat thing is

Would have been better off to weld a bolt to a flat piece of metal and actually screw the camera on to it. That clamping device is just scary.

Every heard of Sticky Pod? Inexpensive and appears to work quite well.
