I'd take a Cayman over a S any day...only if I could afford one.

caymans are very nice and you can't compare one to the S with the difference in price ranges. i'd love a cayman. you can't make a wrong decision. good luck

I love how everyone dogs the Boxster, but on the flip side of the coin loves the Cayman,

All kidding aside though, the Cayman is very sexy. One of my regular customers has one and every time he pulls up I usually slip out to check it out up close. His is a dark grey color... Very sexy car.

And for about 55K you get the Porsche name AND new car smell. Not sure if you care about this kind of thing, but it is nice.

+1 Cayman S. My friend sold his S2000 and went to the Cayman S. He hasn't regretted the decision. The car a few steps more refined as pure sports car versus the S2000. You can definately tell that car should be even faster than it already is, and it would be if the 911 wasn't such a big money maker for Porsche. You just need to be ready to pay Porsche service money during up-keep. It's not the same crawl under car and change the oil like on an S2000.
