Haha. I'm taking this exact same class ME1770 in the Spring Semester. Nice to see a fellow AE with a S2k. Do you know what career path you're going to take yet?

Great job.

I use Pro/E and SolidEdge here at work. I've done very little animation work, though, except for finite element analysis (fluid flow and even bending/distortion).

Nice

I use this program at work all day, and now I have to see it on the boards?!
What type of job do you have if you don't mind me asking

@Currahee474,
Yeah, my friend is going to "gaming school" (to learn how to make video games) and they are teaching him animation through maya. Unfortunatly for me, maya is one of the programs I never learned or had a chance just to play with.

@hisownhero,
We've played with solidworks a little bit at school as well, also another very nice program.

@S2 Jay,
Thats a nice rendering, looks like a sketch yet its not

@deathsled,
Plus not the most efficent firing order either . It was just the specs our teacher gave us so we don't have to go fully dissamble a real engine.

@Jsy622,
I'll be getting my minor in mathematics, major in ME, and a certification in Aerospace engineering. Hopefully this leads me to Boeing, lockeed martin, NASA, etc

@JonBoy,
Anaylsis is one of the coolest parts of any program. In other classes we went over bend/stresses of beams through proengineer. Our school also has a program called "CF design" which is an advanced fluid anaylsis program...very powerful and very cool. If any of you have seen slimjims signature (the wing showing high and low pressure zones) thats what CF Design does

Yeah, I've seen some of slimjims work. I'm nowhere near that level of analysis, though. I don't even work with fluids anymore - it's all structural/contact/thermal analysis.

Woot for engineering!! Currently studying EE @ UMD!

Nice work, only used Pro-E a handful of times, but it is fun.
