It says that MB will use their DTM experience to let AMG produce a road version of the CLK-GTR. The same 5.5 V8 that is used in DTM will output 610HP. The aim is to essentially crush cars like the M3 CSL.
They also mention that the picture shows the first protoype being tested on the road... and they go on about describing the agressive look of the car (skirts, front lip, etc.). Production is expected to be very limited.
so this is actually real- not some old guy w/lots of money and a crazy midlife crisis!
