Default Michelin tires. These tires are airless

http://www.michelinman.com/difference/rele...e01102005a.html

"these tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires This is what great R&D will do and just think of the impact on existing technology:

a. no more air valves
b. no more air compressors at gas stations
c. no more repair kits"

I saw these a couple of years back. They said industrial applications were most likely the target because above 30mph these "TWEELS" become extremely noisy. Grandma doesn't like noisy tires

i think once they put rubber on the outside to fill the ugly look of the wheels they will be sweet. if they offer similar performance to air tires i would ude them.

I wonder about their sidewall rigidity for handling, traction, etc.
No more checking PSI...
