Default Mismatched Wheel Sets

Hey everybody! I'm Chris, a new member to the site, but not new to the site itself, nor to Honda automobiles. I used to have an '01 ITR, went to an '03 WRX and '03 S2K, sold both, went to an '03 Infiniti M45 and Forester and now I'm coming back to the S2K! Anyways, just thought I'd start a thread that I haven't seen from browsing the 40+ pages in this forum. This is for all of you (or the few of you) who have different colored wheels on your S2000. I can't decide between two colors of CE28Ns, so I'm thinking about going with bronze on one side and mag blue on the other for my future S2000. I haven't seen anyone running a different color on either side of their car but there has to be some of you out there! Post away!

-Chris

It's not as uncommon as you might think. I've seen quite a few ITRs, WRXs, and Evos with one color on say the left side, and a different color on the right (vice versa). It may sound strange, but it looks good, besides who can see more than one side at a time?

Actually, I think that idea is pretty sick. Who is gonna be able to see both sides anyway? There are tons of people rockin 2 different set of rims anyway.

Exactly what I'm saying. I'm not talk about having one side as 20" spinners and the other as 17" TE-37s, 99% of the people I've seen do it on various cars choose the same wheels, but just change colors. In fact I've seen the Spoon S2000 run different colors of CE28s on their front and rear wheels, I just have to find the pic...

Cool idea.

EDIT:

This wcc Enzo had mismatched wheels after the owner apparently couldn't set his mind to one color.
