I've been wondering the same. The OEM lip is a great shape but that seam makes it look very tacked on.

I think that would make the front bumper look bulbous at the bottom.

Based on the chop job, it looks pretty nice. Fills out the lower area of the bumper pretty well.

I'd do it - but I'm pretty sure it would crack at the rate I bump things like cones etc...
