just for clarification, i am not done with my 230rwhp goal. i am at 227 now and all i need is a mere 3whp. for the next dyno day i'll slap on a AEM CAI and call it 230whp easy. the problem with making 227 to the wheel is the amazing noise that this little motor can make. my other exhaust(custome 70mm headerback) is just one long pipe with a muffler on it, it made 7whp 3wtq, but it also(most likely) damaged my hearing in the process.

thusly, i have decided to run TWO setups, race and street. the race setup is the same setup that is well documented in the "230whp" thread. my street setup is what you see in the pics, or my "race" setup with HKS bolted on. the difference is night and day. while the area under 5k is twice as strong, the 6k+ zone is, as you can imagine twice as weak. it is easier for daily driving and it sounds sexy for a dual.

for the track/dyno/when i want to punish someone i'll bolt on the old 70mm and have at it, but for the docile drive to work and daily routine the HKS does a great job. only had it on since sat and already have been asked twice "what size V6" is in that thing! haha!

nah i know, while i have a resonator on my 63mm its blown out, and im pretty sure its affected my hearing in the time iv had it.

i raced a guy in an STi once and he told me my car was the loudest car he had ever heard, LMFAO
