I know what you mean man...like I said, it just makes a car look sinister. That doesn't look like your ordinary matte black though...doesn't it appear to have some pearlescent flake in there?

what's the maintenance on a flat paint job?

like if you have flat paint at home on your walls, it's hard (impossible?) to wipe clean compared to eggshell and semi-gloss....

on eggshell and semi-gloss, you can actually wipe th esurface....i find on flat wall paint, when you wipe/scrub it, you're actually taking off the paint.

I really don't know, but I do know that it is a bitch to keep spotless. All of the flat black cars at the show had fingerprints ALL over them.

Damn that sucks, I was considering painting my s2k flat black one day. Guess not any more, if its that much of a hassle to keep it looking good.
