No drone between 2-3K RPM? Really? Are the tips on the Mugen Ti (looks like it)?

I've gotta listen to this puppy someday. I wonder if any of the New England guys have one.

The stock exhaust really is a chunky beast. I've hoisted them from the cat back -- easily 50 pounds.

I had originally tried the Magnaflow exhaust for around $730.00 is it was a complete and total piece of crap.

http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopdis...d=168&cat=S2000

The fitment was terrible and my shop could barely get it installed. The welds looked pretty bad as well. The difference in quality between the Mugen and the Magnaflow is night and day.

Then there was the drone -- unbearable top up or down around 4K.

As always, you pretty much get what you pay for. For me the extra price was worth it.

I know the exhaust gets me little in terms of performance, but the Mugen sounds awesome, looks awesome and shaves off ~25 pounds.

Anyway, I couldn't be more happy.

Nice choice! Everyone that has this exhaust loves it. It will get a little louder after a few thousand miles. Enjoy!

Nice cans. I still like the old Mugen better.

No drone at all at any RPM.

I'm thinking about grabbing the Handycam and taking some video/audio and posting it up for the board.

Thats because it's actually engineered. Almost all other aftermarket exhausts are not.
