Default My BB AP1 Build Thread

Hey everyone, I have been on here since the first day of owning my 2003 Berlina Black S2000. I bought her back in June of this year, and I was 19 at the time (now 20) and I just thought I might share what I have done so far! This is my first car I bought totally on my own, and so far I have gotten no problems.. She had 114k miles at the time of purchase and is now at 120k.

When I bought it was bone stock with the exception of some Koni Yellow Shocks, and drilled/slotted rotors.. Didn't stay that way long at all lol

My first purchase was an Invdia N1 Exhaust, which was shortly followed by a K&N Cold Air Intake

Soon after I ended up selling my other car (2003 Mitsubishi Lancer) and regret not buying a Turbo kit

I then decided I wanted to add some color to make it stand out a bit more on the road and at shows, but I didn't want it to be the same as most other cars. So, instead of doing a red or blue accenting I decided on a dark purple and so far most people really like it!

So i went to Password JDM and spent a bit on some engine dress up bolts and things along with a few carbon fiber pieces and sent most of it out to be powdercoated as well as the valve cover in Illusion Purple

Then I didnt like how plain the interior looked to me, so i bought a Password JDM shift knob and NRG hub, quick release, and steering wheel

I've always been a fan of stanced and lowered cars, I decided to do that to this. So, I ordered some Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers with custom 10k rates all around along with Varrstoen ES2 in 18x8.5 and 9.5 and a +30 offset all around with some 215/40 and 225/40 Accelera Tires. Shortly after I rolled all the fenders and removed my liner up front, and still plan on relocating the rear bumper tab eventually.

So currently I'm at about -2.5 degrees of camber up front and -4 in the back, and I only hit the bumper tab on rough bumps

Here's some more random pics I have

I have a lot of plans in the future for her, so hopefully it'll come together more throughout the winter and be all finished up for next years season! Any comments or opinions are appreciated
