i pin striped my painted ap1 wheels haha.

here's how i painted it:

first sand and prep wheels with 400 grit.
wash. dry.
paint primer 3 coats
paint black 4 coats
wait dry 30 min
tape the outermost lip, its kinda "stepped" so heres how i taped it:

if u tore off a piece of tape you'll get four sides. there will be two sides thats torn and the other (usually longer side) that's perfectly straight. i ended up using the straight sides to create a multiple loops of tape around the lip (upwards) then painted the lip 3 times.
