Wish I had a puppy. No time though & it wouldn't be fair for the dog.

Great pic! I have a Golden Retriever also. She is almost 8 and is my "kid". What a great dog, though breeders are ruining them. They have so many health problems - hip dysplasia is very common, cancer, eye and heart disease, and severeal others. My dog has had surgery to correct hip dysplasia and has had a cancerous tumor removed.

Everyone should be as blessed as my wife and I are to have a dog like ours once in their lives. We are currently getting our dog certified as a Therapy Dog, so we can take her to hospitals to visit sick children, stroke victims, etc.

cool! I also have 2 Golden Retreivers. We love them also as if they are our "kids", but the thought of letting one
of them go for a joy ride in the S2K won't happen. Thats what we have the Accord for. Great lookin dog cthree!

Thanks for the nice comments. He's a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, almost 2 yrs. Born in Ottawa on June 12th, 1999. While not obvious from the pic, he's got a few things that make him different than a golden. First he is much shorter and lighter. 18" and only 45lbs. Second is his light colored nose and eyes. These are black on a golden. Also he is much more red colored with white chest, bum and feet.

Dogs rock. I never had one before him and I sure missed a lot. His loyalty is unwavering and is just thrilled to death to see you anytime.

Agreed... I have had Mr. Pockets for 3 years now and wonder why I never had a dog before. They are truly mans best friend, and a part of the family.
