Those wheels pretty much destroy the truck's off-road abilities, which is the only thing an off-road vehicle is made for.

It's like buying a $500,000 jet and taking the wings off 'because it looks cool that way.'

50K+ truck doesn't look like the ghetto to me?
The price of the truck is irrelevant. If you think because somebody spent a lot of money on a vehicle it is immune from good taste, I can say you aren't too terribly bright.

I can take criticism it's ok. I dont think it looks ghetto though. Now if I had chrome trim everywhere I can see ghetto but come to NY you will see everyone who has a truck has big wheels
I'm glad you are a good sport. I wonder, however, is being part of a collective and conforming to the masses is the cool thing for kids to do now. It is kind of sad that you need to validate yourself by stating that in NY "everyone who has a truck has big wheels."

I think it looks foolish. Trucks with big wheels and rubberband tires are straight out of the hood. Why buy a truck if you are going to destroy all the functionality you just paid for? It won't go off road. Forget snow with those tires. Maybe it will hold a big system so you can kick some bass with your rad homeys.

Well well well. I wasn't expecting some of the responses to this thread. I think that the truck looks great. Nothing better than being able to put 23s on a vehicle. About going offroad, I'm sure if you were planning that, a 6" lift and 35" boggers would have been in order. Ghetto? Nah..not at all. Very classy indeed. IMO luxo-Suvs cry out for huge wheels. You can never have too much "bling bling" on a black truck.
Great work. I bet those wheels prolly cost more than a new Hyundai Accent tho

"Anybody who would take an Escalade offroad is a complete idiot anyways."

Its a four wheel drive pick up truck! Of course it's design to go off road! That's what it's for! Just because it has leather seats and a loud stereo doesn't change that.

Pimp. Ghetto. It's all the same to me. That truck looks ridiculous.

Technically it's all-wheel drive w/ no low range in the transfer case (like the CR-V, Freelander, etc.).
