How do you compare the Greddy kit on your AP2 to the CTSC on your AP1? Finally someone who's had both to compare!
Good question?

Stock unit characteristics with no upgrades to the FI system:

With my AP1 I couldn't wait and was near fanatical about getting it FI'd with the CT unit. Got the charger and loved that it had the same characteristics of the stock torque curve. I drove the sh!t outta that car. I always thought about upgrading the pulley but never got around to it. I loved how the car handled and now I had some good top end grunt to work with.

Now the AP2... immediate notice of steering response, chassis stiffness and roll right off the lot.
Drove without FI for over a year and now I've had the turbo for over a month. I flipped a coin and decided to try out a turbo this time.

With the Greddy unit, I say eff the SC power curve! I absolutely love the low end burst all the way to VTEC. Off the line and down low is so nice as far a daily drivable. No revving to 6 g's to get that burst. I also wanted something with what I felt had more tune-ability with it and I feel I have that.

Obviously both units have their benefits. I drove my AP1 daily and on very long trips with not a single hiccup for years. I have taken a few long stints with the AP2 but obviously still have quite some time to find any gremlins and try out some upgrades.

I'm waiting on exhaust (anyone selling a single 70?) before I dyno and tune but as of now I'm happy with the car as a whole package.

I have a CR, and the wife and I want to supercharge it. I use it as a daily driver and she takes it when she wants to play in the country

I've heard about the creep...
I'll be using the stock cat until I upgrade fuel management down the road.
