Talking My Day

My brother and I had nothing better to do today than go for a drive. Of course, the S2000 was out of the picture as the car we could use to cruise because the insurance is expired and I don't want to buy any right now since I have no need driving the car at the moment. We went for a drive in my '04 Camry LE V6, which isn't the type of car you'd expect to take a cruise around in but it was either that or my 2002 Toyota Highlander V6. Camry it is then.
Anyway, I took some random pictures, so if you care to look, I hope you enjoy. I'll admit my camera is very cheap but it does the job. Some of you may recall I posted a similar thread a few months back where I went looking at cars with my cousin. My brother wanted to look at the new CRs, but we decided to check out other cars, too. I have other random pics, too.
BTW, if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say nothing!

When we went onto the 60 West freeway I decided to start taking random pics.

We decided to go to the Riverside, CA, auto mall and do a little bit of window shopping.

Just a bunch of Caymans and Boxsters.

Walked over to the Honda dealership and I became hypnotized with the S2Ks.

The price tag for this S2000CR read, "Was $37,950. Now $33,450."

I like the CR rims.

Obviously, I just couldn't get enough of the CRs.

Who says the new Accords are ugly? I think they look a lot better than previous Accords.

The couple you see (with the brown jacket on the man and blue-ish shirt on the woman) had just purchased that Accord that a salesman was pulling out for them. They kept screaming about how happy they were with their decision.

We went back to the Porsche dealership because the Nissan dealership was packed with people taking a look at a new GT-R the dealers had pulled in.

A 911 Turbo.

I dislike the exhaust tips, but overall, the car is a beast.

The Porsche and Audi dealerships are owned by Walter. Remember the name for later...

I got a call from one of my cousins. He asked if we wanted to hang out, so we left.

This is my cousin's house w/ my Camry in front. We hung out for a little while before, ironically, my cousin asked if we wanted to go look at cars. It was really strange of him to bring it up when he didn't mention anything about that to him.

With gas prices lower now, you're going to be seeing a lot of more of these.

So here we go again, driving back to the Riverside Auto Mall.

Speed limit on the highway in a family sedan FTW.

I wasn't kidding when I said I couldn't get enough of the S2000 CRs.

We went over to Walter's Mercedes-Benz dealership, which is across the street from the Walter's Porsche and Walter's Audi dealerships.

I'm starting to like the looks of M.Bs more now.

A lot of Mercedes-Benz look good...

Only one really stands out among the crowd.

I think it's an '06.

I've seen many SLR McLarens before but this one was such a pristine example of one.

I decided to leave the SLR McLaren alone for a bit.

There were some sales men standing off to the side (can't see them in the pic) who were speaking to some man with a Hawaiian shirt on, shorts and sandles.

I paid no attention to the man because I just assumed he was a customer.

I kept hearing them say, "Mr. Walter..." "Mr. Walter..."

I still paid no mind to them. Just some customer maybe...

The set-back of the SLR... A 5-speed automatic transmission in a supercar.

And more pictures of the SLR...

Very neat exhausts.

As we were leaving, I saw this Ferrari 360 Spider and took a picture.

It turned out to be Mr. Walter himself.

He smiled in a seemingly snobby way as though he was trying to tell me he was better than me because he was in a Ferrari while I was taking pictures of the 360, which made me realize I was feeding his ego, so I stopped. I still like the 360, so I decided to keep the pics. The car is very loud, too.

Took a pic of the black guy's P-car before officially leaving.

Parking in reverse. That Mustang has been parked there for a few days now without even moving an inch or two away.

Then I went to my store and I liked the rims on this ugly car, so I took a pic of them.

This picture makes it obvious it was still day time.

Spent the rest of the day reading the 2009 New Car Buyer's Guide. Geez.. I am obsessed with cars.

My cousin's parents came for a visit in their Honda Passport.

Gum.

Driving home after leaving some employees to close the shop.

As you can tell, I was driving.

The only thing that keeps this Camry entertaining to drive (since removing the rims) is the sound system.

Because I can...

Changed the settings on the cheap camera and it made it obvious I need a car wash.

My baby.

After spending all day away from it, I felt good coming back and admiring the car.

For a nine year old style Honda made a car that still stands out today imo.

Yes, I do realize mine is stock. Sorry...

It's still very attractive to me.

Thank you for looking through my pics. I know, it's a pretty pointless thread honoring a pretty lame day, but . At least there's exotics to look at. They always appeal to the masses.
