My diffuser, help...
personally i'd go for the first one (the way it was intended, i suppose based on you mentioning that the mount was meant for that).
would the 2nd way of mounting cause it to constantly rub against the bumper? (it doesn't look like the part that sticks out have any mounting points that allows it to be screwed into the bumper?
there's a lot of vibration underneath not sure if mounting the 2nd way will cause it to constant tap on the bumper cover making it more annoying than anything.

i think i have the same one , i have mine in between , not to far out an not to close , i tried to make custom brackets for the diffuser cause the guy i bought it from told me it was a top secret replica , but when i was looking at my friends FD rx-7 i noticed that we had the same diffuser , so i think i have a rx-7 diffuser on my car
