My GPW AP2
So now that I've had my car for a few months, I now can start formally on getting more active on the forums and the S2K community in general. Been browsing around a lot, but I think I can get around to posting a bit more instead of just reading threads.
Bought October 2011 from a fellow user on S2KI, who took care of it very well as the previous owner. I've been waiting years for an upgrade, having owned two civics before. A 1989 Honda Civic DX hatchback, then a 2000 Honda Civic EX coupe. But I knew that my next car would be something that I hope would keep with me for much longer. Took months to find out exactly what I wanted in a new car, looking at various other cars and makes. In the end, I realized I still wanted that Honda reliability, but with a better, true driver experience than the Hondas I had before. I knew it was time to make the jump and get the S2K. Double the HP of my civic, RWD, sporty looks, and a great following from drivers all around were all the factors I needed to finally decide on getting the S2K. Taking it for my first drive going back home, it was quite excellent and memorable. Transitioning from FWD to RWD wasn't too bad, I was careful not to push it to the limits in the first few weeks of ownership. Overall, very happy with the way it handles, the kick of DOHC VTEC, and that sporty look at any angle. Already took it to a couple of meets, found the community to be quite fun to hang with.
I hope to keep adding onto it every now and then. Already added the new interior pieces from JPM Coachworks, CR radio door and shift knob, and the Modifry phone holder. Hoping to get an intake installed soon (most likely the K&N FIPK).
My wishlist:
Comptech Headers
Deeper sounding exhaust (not ricer loud)
OEM CR spoiler or JDP spoiler
JDP rear diffuser (link)
1" to 1.5" drop
APR front bumper (link)
OEM Hardtop
AUT Engine bay cooling plate (link)
Alpine or Sony deck, upgraded amp and speakers (OEM not powerful enough for great sound)
Now onto some pics:

GPW is the best color

Soon there will be upgrades. I'm sure of it.

The stock cupholder behind the shifter kinda sucks. This was a must have. Makes everyday use a lot easier. It's way too awkward to shift with a drink under your elbow.

The old leather on the elbow pad and the shift boot was sorta faded, so these bring a new touch that as a new owner of an S2K would appreciate. JPM does great work. Took me a few hours to install properly, and I'm very happy with the results. Hopefully I'll get a steering wheel refresh and seat covers as well in the near future.

The bezel that covers the part where the holder attaches to still sorta sticks out, I have to work on getting it a bit more flush, but for now it's good in the meantime.
So that's it for now, I hope to add more as I try to get the S to a clean, sleeper-type look. Thanks S2KI!
