You said you are in need of 4 new tires - don't wait or skimp on tires. Buy the best you can afford and if you think you can't afford good tires look at some of the "I wreaked my car today" posts.

Oh trust me, I really want some good tires. Money is a bit of an issue but I'm going to try none the less. (My number one choice is BFGoodrich KDW2).
