As far as diff fluid -- I wouldn't worry about boiling (alot of air tunneling past the diff)---

however IMHO you should put an access hole for the jack point... (see pic below of mine)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I messed up my home grown diffuser when I was laying up the CF...

bummed me out but now I starting fresh --- and you've given me ideas and a kick in the pants to get going

heres some pics of mine before the epoxy started eating through the foam...

since I'm rocking the C-West rear I have "that short bumpered race kaa look"
I demand more pictures dammit !

I believe we are making a carbon fiber copy of my diffuser !

THAT'S 4 lbs? Even being aluminum, it's fairly heavy gauge aluminum and all those rivets, bolts, and brackets add weight too. I have a hard time believing anything less than about 20 lbs for that. That's not bad, but it's more than 4.

I can't say I like the look, but thumbs up for custom stuff.
typo, its suppose to say 7lbs

I can pick up the whole thing with two fingers

A little too wild for my taste, but it seems to work with the motif you've got going on with your ride. The diffuser compliments the back end of your car (and the Spoon fender flares) very nicely.

I believe this is a mod for function, not form. Having said that, I love it. This kind of innovation and engineering are what inspire all of us to think outside of the box. Major props for a great design and execution man.
