I would have agree that the slips dont look like the real spoons....same thing for the D2's. I can totally tell the difference. However, people mod their cars how they like and some would rather spend the money in different areas so keep up the good work.

Rota slipstreams look nothing like Spoons SW's... I don't care what anyone says.

People who say things like you like going the cheap route. I'm not saying what his preference should be, I'm telling you I don't like it. I own a S2000 and he owns an S2000. We have the same taste in cars but the way I spend my money is different than his.

I'm still that person who says Rotas don't belong on a S, they belong on a Civic or something of a lesser caliper. You put Rotas on an S and you're telling me you are cheap and don't want to pay for the originals and support the original manufacture. I know some people have got to understand what I'm saying. I know and Honda is a Honda. But... If I wanted a Civic I'd of stayed with the kids. I just see the S getting cheaper every month and I can just see it going down hill. Ya know?

Sell them, drop a grand plus and feel real good about yourself. Thats all I'm saying. Plus, it's my opinion.
LOL..Ok maybe they dont look like spoons but all that aside, some of us just struggle to keep an S2000 sorry were not up to your standards (BALLER)

We have enough people like YOU talking SH@T on rotas so chill on the ugly ugly cause truthfully that car is not........Car looks good lovin it.

So go on about Rotas cause that is your preference, but no one wants to hear it, cause its been done toooooo many times already........
I dont usually quote comments like yours but someone needs to stand up for rotas.

I would just like to say....

first off, they dont look like spoons, they LOOK better!. spoons are not for the "look" anyway, they are race track wheels. these have a nicer offset which makes the middle inset more and gives a nicer bodied look, and a nicer lip. and they are bigger than spoons.
I dont want to comment on Rota's quality because i dont know for sure, but i would think any company who makes wheels for that long has to do something right! and i'm pretty sure they can handle all the 200 whp, my Ballin car is throwing at them!

plus, if i spent 2 gees on spoons, then found out i can get rotas for half that, I would feel like an ars!... NOT good about my self!
since i don't track, i still have the look i want. which if you can tell, i DON'T like to look BALLIN!

I prefer a nice silhouette of the car, not how shiny my wheels are
no 18" chromes for me,

thanks for the CC's guys, Im on SWIFT springs and have to install my APR mirrors soon,
i may be getting an APR lip, and would love some quality coil overs, we'll see

why bash rota?? rota is a good brand made in philippines. the are passed in IS09001 standard. and they are strong and durable had several sets of orig spoons but they are so soft 1 bump and its finished not like rota you can go to evry bump and it will last. did you guys even know that enkei and kosei are made in philippines?? just have jdm badges and axis is made in thailand?????rota is doing everything to be a competition rim brand and they are doing a great job!!! it all depends on the owner of the car if he has lots of money like ballers in here or he has a bit koney... it depends on the budget of a person and the taste of style also the functionality. there are lots of good cars here in philippines that usue rotas!! because its pratical not like using a volkrays mags that will cost you 4000dollars a set with out tire thats how expensive rims are here in the philippines specially volks, works, ssr. not evryone can afford it. but they cahnged they rims to rota for perfomance, functionality and praticality.

I think ALL Wheels can be bent or destroyed given different situations, but to say Spoons/Desmonds are Soft , Sorry but that is incorrect , They are a strong wheel (can they bend, sure they can but are they weak??? not as weak as Rotas! ).

If Rota really wants to make a name for themselves they should hire some designers and start making their own designes, as long as they rip off every popular design they will never get respect from me . Just the other day I saw a Nissan 240 on Rota C8's (Mugen MF8 copies) that is horrible .

Not too mention they are killing the resale of great discontinued wheels such as Gabs, Racing Hart, Mugen, and etc.

Back to topic.

Car looks good! Once you get a front lip and maybe a little more drop it will look a lot better.
