Please explain this a bit more. How did you get this game? Do you have a JDM PS2? That looks like the japanese release of the game. I see japanese menus on the screen. It's not expected in the US until March 2003. How'd you get it?

My PS2 is the JDM version so I am able to play the game with no chips. To be honestly, its not bad but not that great of a game.

Cbeyond:

yea as xplosiv said, our ps2 r jap version and so is the game. NTSC-J

it's just a game, like a typical capcom graphics and style game. it's fun to play but not as realistic as GT3 (which I love the most)
I think it could be better if I can hook up a network play with friends (this game features network battle)

xplosiv: i dont 'drift' u know i just play it, nothing like GT3.
and I found the 'wind' effect kind of cool while u r accelerating

blau-blau, I like the blowoff valve for the turbo cars...
I built a AE86 just for drifting, and even with drift++, the car doesnt seem to be drifting at all... IMO GT3 is a better car game than A.M.
btw do you know Albert? he's a friend of Allen from AJ-R.

i will take some shoots, I made my S2000 in the game the way I want in the real car: full CWest kit, Mugen CF hood, rims, looks sick. The prob is when my car will look exactly like that .

Xplosiv/blau-blau, overall which game do you think is more fun, auto modellista or gt3?

I would say GT3, better graphic and better controlling...in auto modellista, an AWD turbo car (eg. 22B) can never lose. IMO, A.M is a carton version of Tokyo Zero, but its featured with the Initial D style. Both games are good, but if I have to pick one, it would be GT3

Big fan of GT3 and Tokyo Zero. It many not be the best, but when A.M. comes out I plan on picking it up. Thanks for the real world review guys.
