It WAS neat and unique for about a year until VW flooded the market with the 20th USAE GTI. I thought that was total .
In the US maybe..but here in Canada only 200 20AE came.
50 Jazz Blue
50 Yellow
100 Black

I have 1 of 50 Jazz Blues...its definatly a head turner.
Great power and excellent handling....Had a 01 GTi VR6 prior to this one
and this one kills it hands down
Best VW owned sofar...60,000kms and no problems whatsoever.

I used to have a 20th ae in black.
any 337 owners that are bitter because the value of their car went down after the introduction of the 20th ae are feeling that way because their car didnt look as nice as the black one!!! end of story!!

What gets me is that the 20AE and 337 are as quick as the Heavy R32's......

You should track/lap your 337...you'll be surprised on how well it handles, and the BRAKES are awesome...Brakes are way better then the S2k's

i miss that car because it was fun to drive and it still had usable space in it. decent torque from down low too.

I love the VW turbo engine and I love the fun factor in the driving, but i must say there were lots of "mexico made" warranty issues and little things on top of that the resale wasn't that great on them, but the limited ones seemed to keep pretty good value, I love VW's i'm just really afraid to own one.

But man for 600 dollars or something you can get so much from just a chipping the ecu. They go so fast in a straight line just pulls and pulls, that's turbo power for you
