My S2000 over the years since 2002
I decided to make a thread dedicated to the history of my build up. From when I bought the car brand new in 2002 till now. I'll be adding more pics once I get to my other computer this evening.
The car was only 4 months old. Had Mugen MF10's, Spoon Brakes, Spoon Suspension, Intake, Exhaust, bars etc..
These pics from 2004. Was pretty much the end of the spoon build. Had almost every part spoon with a full c-west exterior.
Random pics between 2003-2005
In 2005, the car went for a complete strip down and rebuild.
The start of a long down time of just over 3 years. The goal. To build an Amuse Widebody GT1 Time Attack Car, that was still able to be a daily driver.
So went all Toda for the motor build. 2.2 liter stroker kit for Turbo, and had Toda japan make me a full ported/polished head. Came wrapped in japanese news paper
In the mean time, i was playing around with fitment of the widebody kit at home.
Then my wheels came. 18x10.5 Prodrive GC010G's +22 offset for front and rear.
Then I got the HKSGT3240 Turbo, and HKS GTII Wastegate, and the fabrication of the turbo manifold started. Finding a good shop to do the work that I needed was hard enough. Luckily since I live in Orlando. Titan Motorsports was up to the task.
Then fabricating the v-mount intercooler, and still retaining a/c. This stage gave the majority of the delays due to wait times for an HKS intercooler that never came. Ended up with a greddy.
Also started up on the fabrication of the custom 3" exhaust to fit the Amuse Widebody kit.
Finally at the beginning of this month, the turbo/motor setup was complete. Its still needing a good tune. But I finally got the car back from Titan Motorsports. Next up is fine tuning the setup, and then off to the body shop to get the widebody kit finally installed/painted.

You have much more of something than I have besides money and that is patience. I could not have a project that took that long. Even one that is turning out as nice as yours.
