My S2K drifting at HIN
Agreed.
It's a road-race-prepped AP1 w/ over 450whp on a really short course where the driver couldn't even get out of 1st gear. He's normally used to drifting on larger road racing circuits. The car still has the stock OEM Honda rear-end, too.
Plus, add into the mix that he had r-comps on the front and street tires on the rear, and the fact that he hadn't driven the car in months and I'd say he did a pretty decent job for what it was worth. I know Jae was pretty frustrated and disappointed, but all in all, I was just glad he made a showing.
Having driven the car myself, I have a hard time fathoming how one could even hold a sustained slide/angle with the current setup at all to begin with, so I'll give him props all day for even going out there.
