Default My V-AFC mount pics

here is a pic of where i mounted my v-afc. i dremeled a hole into the visor, jammed the vafc in there and put a black plastic frame around it to cover up the rough cuting i did on the visor. the wire runs behind the plastic molding, down through the dash and straight to the ecu. i also painted the housing of the vafc black because i didnt like how the silver contrasted so much. oh ya, dont flame the dc sports sticker, i was bored and it will be taken off asap! now all i have to do is wait for my harness! i hope everything works out this time!

yes the visor is a replacable part, cost ya about $50, so you have to take your time. all you have to do is cut the hole smaller than the actual unit so that it will fit in there really snug with out glue. my cutting wasnt all that clean either, the reason it looks clean is cuz i put a frame around it. my frame is made out of the stuff used to make a circuit board, which was cut to exact spec. buy a etcher at my dads circuit board co. i'll have more close up pics soon...

I think it looks great Mike. Oh ya, we can excuse the DC sports sticker as long as a S2KI one replaces it
