1. How did you prep the wheel for painting?
2. What did you clean it with?
3. Did you have to sand it at all?
4. What kind of paint did you use?
5. How many coats?

Yes they are going on the black car, and so far I'm liking it. I only have two painted, and will do the rest this weekend. I washed w/ diswashing soap, sanded w/ 400 grit, and used Engine Enamel (500 degree), since the store was out of High Temp Wheel Paint. Engine enamle should be strong enough for now.

OMG MR. CLEAN YOUR IDEA IS AMAZING!!! It took so much less time and it was much cleaner to use the cards instead of tape. I actually took cardstock in 8.5x11" and cut em into 3. Now I have less to rub off the tires too, since the cardstock acts like a vertical wall!!!

I will have photos 2mr when they are on the car. I can't wait to have red calipers inside these wheels.
