MY06 NFR
Alright so I figured Id compile a pic/timeline of where my car has been over the past year and a half of ownership
Pics from the Sale ad when I bought her, I fell in love at first sight

I brought it home and cleaned it up and I had a friend snap some higher resolution pictures for me these are just a few

Backed in next to my other project car my dad and I work on

Eventually I needed to lower it, that wheel gap was killing me so I got a set of espelirs. This was the first night after It was lowered. The softtop had been ripped since I bought it and I was waiting to tackle the job myself

I really wanted an AP2 lip, but being my cheap self I couldnt justify the huge amount of money for something that was so prone to being broken so I picked up a replica off a local owner that I needed to repaint.
Testfitting I ended up spraying and clearing the lip myself and I dont think it came out too bad!

A little while after I got the lip painted and installed I didnt like how my wheels were sunken in so I opted for a set of 17mm rear spacers and 15mm front spacers to give it more of a flush look (Nothing too overboard here) This is also before I picked up weather striping for my front lip, it looks way better with it

THen I told myself there was no way I was getting a hardtop unless it was a deal, relatively close, and black or red.. well shit, I ended up with an OEM hardtop too. First pic is in the guys driveway literally after bolting it on for the first time and the second one was after I washed it at home the next day.

Well I finally ditched the old top. A bunch of local S2k owners got together and had a local top instal day where everyone received instruction. No way I could ever have done this without pointers from Joe who owned a local upholstery shop and was quite an expert at s2k tops considering he owns one himself

Went to IA and heres a few pics from recent meets and how she sits now, all thats been added was a low pro aero front splitter since my lip still liked to drag on everything and I wanted to protect the paint.

Engine Bay shot..

I really think a new set of wheels will set it off and I really would like to get my hands on a set of RPF1s but as of now thats how she sits. I've learned an incredible amount of information from this forum and love browsing it daily.
Feel free to comment and criticize! I know its not perfect!

Thanks guys!
@kwin- I took the tow hook cover to a sherwin Williams automotive store and has them paint match it for me to the closest thing they have. Then i just scuffed it good, built it. Up with some primer and shot paint and clear. I did do it with a gun not a rattle can or anything though.
@yamaha- it's a low pro aero splitter. Honestly I wouldn't call it a splitter it's more like a lip protector as I'm pretty sure it serves no function. I do like the look though.
@Photo- I am assuming you are talking about the original bumper without the lip? I bought it like that and it looks like the original owner hit something/pushed into something so he used it as a way to cover up scratches. It looked alright from a distance. I'll see if I can find some more pics for you
@mirabile- hey man I would trade for one but honestly I've grown pretty fond of the black on red set up. Also I've noticed some minor sand scratches so I wouldn't want to trade you something that may have been repaired.
The 15mm spacers in the front rubes the plastic fender liner plugs so much tha they are now missing. I was doing an oil change last week and noticed some wear marks on the plastic inner fenders but nothing too drastic. I don't even think most people who don't know s2000s realize they are even spaced.
