Does anyone know what brand/type of RIM on the Mitsubishi Evo...this RIM is found from the recent 2011 Import Alliance spring meet picture thread??

WedsSport SA-55M. I was about to buy a set until a bunch of owners started posting pics of the paint being really thin and chipping easily.

that issue might be just that batch? when i worked for a rim/tire wholesaler, we had the same issue. it was our first batch in a new color we offered, in which the clear was way too soft. we couldnt mount a tire without damaging the wheel color. made a few phone calls and the paint process was corrected. im sure a big company like wedsport could do the same...
