Nardi Deep Corn 330mm wheel installed in my AP1. Need to get a 350mm since this one covers almost all of the tach.

I like the look of aftermarket wheels and am sick of my shiney OEM wheel - but doesn't not having an airbag really compromise safety?

I've hit one twice and I'm really glad they were there. Both were the mid 90's 'dangerous' ones too. I vividly remember my head hitting and thinking to myself "wow, thats really soft/not at all what I'd think it'd feel like/OMGWTF is goin on". I'm 5'11 and was 230lb at that time, so I don't sit right up on the wheel. YMMV

I have always heard that if you are about 5'5 and shorter that airbags are more dangerous then without an airbag. I have heard about people getting burned really bad or the deployment of the airbag seriously hurting or even killing them.

My Fiancee was in a crash with my car with the Topsecret wheel and she is about 5'3 and boy was I glad it was in.

yes the wheel sits a lot closer, its to the point where you cant turn the signals without sliding your hand off the wheel. i have the works bell short hub, if thats a bother, i recommend the nrg short hub since its a bit thinner.
