seung - If I remember correctly when you first went to put on the Comptechs you had some fitment problems. I was just at the shop today and my guys are having some issues. The black molding that comes with the skirts looks like crap for one so we're not going to even use it. The double sided tape seems too thick and causes the skirts to stick out quite a bite plus some of the front and rear flares need to be sanded down to properly mold to the car.

The guys are working on it but I guess we won't know the results any time real soon. Just wondering what you had to go through.

Thanks for your input.

yup, i think comptech guys were smoking weed or something when they made the bodykit and its manual.

black molding, double sided tape,
you can't use them.
there's no way.

first i just bolted them on.
i got some gap in the middle,
but barely noticable,
i had no problem for about 3 mo.

after i fixed my kit,
when i put it back on i decided to use automotive glue.

so that's how it is right now.
glued.

Seung - thanks for the info.

The body place I use is closed on the weekends but the two guys may be working on it right now. Don't know for sure but I probably won't have the car back till Monday is my guess.

Last we left it they were filing some areas down and probably going to use the automotive glue like you did. That was actually my idea which surprised me that I even came up with it. I guess I was on the same wavelength as you?

I'll keep you postd. Hopefully I'll be able to get through this and everything will be perfect soon enough. I'll be sure to post pictures of the final install.

Lookin' good dp.

Any issues with the orignal install? Since you've had them a few months now what is your impression of the skirts?

Thanks,
Shay
