exactly but its worth it because no one copies the Mugen stuff, and I suspect that the chances of copying a full amuse bumper will be very minimal unless someone has the cash to front for that bumper

so can someone tell me exactly how much in canadian dollars it costs?

Don't you know how to figure exchange rates? I think it's around $1400 CAD

not saying it's cheap... but,

people jump and hump $500 + front lips and bumpers,
yet when they see a bumper with intergraded bodykit and undertray diffuser
that extends all the way to front strut, they say it's expensive.
i don't understand.

The Amuse front bumper is 44.68 plus about 0 for shipping from California. No one in the US has it yet that I know of. I have had it on order from Amuse for about 3-4 months now. It will not be easy to get and expect a big delay. As for it looking like the 04 bumper, that's a matter of opinion. The side vents are noticably larger and the lip portion is very different. The Amuse is more aggressive and comes with an undertray. When I finally get mine, I'll post pics.
Dan, I know that i'm bringing this thread back from the dead, but did you ever install the amuse front on your car? I'm assuming that the price has increased since then? The best price, or pretty much the only price that I have seen is above 1200.

Amuse raised there prices last year. Yes I have it on my car, if you want to buy it let me know. I'm thinking of selling it locally.
