jdms2000, why does it seem so dark if it's only at 5%? do i have it flipped around? the smaller the %, the darker? i thought it was the smaller the % the lighter.

also, does anybody how much does it cost in general to have just the two side tinted? (in southern cal)

another q: is it possible to tint the upper part of the windshield (ie: accords have the very top part tinted).

i'm also interested in tinting my side windows

Yes the lower the percentage the darker it is...

I believe its the percent of light that is let in..

 

I'm at 12.5% titanium tint, just the sides & back window. I believe the legal limit in FL is currently 15%. And yes, it took a while for the installer to get at the back window but he did a perfect job. We opened the top almost half way for easier access. Just remind the installer to do the back window first because of the automatic roll-down of the front windows!

wow...all those S2000s look great with tint. i myself wanted to get tint but i know in new jersey...having the front 2 windows tinted is illegal. seung, what do you do about that for inspection? do you have it taken off and then reapplied? or do you know someone who does inspections? thanks.
