tires side wall to wide for that rim. when you have a big rim with a small lip you need to stretch the tires to give the lip more room so it looks smoother.

if you where running a 10 inch wheel, i would personally get rear lip. looks funny to have a 10 inch wheel and have no lip in the rear. i really like those wheels but you could have gone with a different set up in regards to lip and offset and the wheels would look 10 times better.

just my .02 cents.
I think it has more to do with putting more meat down on the road, I think he could care less about lip and just wants a wide tire on the back, It doesn't make sense to me to get a wheel that wide to only put a tire that would fit on a 9 or 9.5 rear.

Looks great! Also, looks like the new tires are significantly taller than old - what's up with that?

Those look great! Now you just need a BFT to do something with all that tire!

Question: Does it look wierd at all from the side? the front tires are margionally taller then the rears.
I'm OCD sometimes and stuff like that bugs me. Then again the 245 should be streched more on the 9" wheel then the 275's on the 10" wheel.

275/35-18 = ~21.79"
245/40-18 = ~21.86"
