hehe
Its a Oil Catch Can. On the top of the engine you'll notice the black hose that goes from the top of the block into the intake tube. Usually(over time) a small amount of oil can leak out the top of the block and into the intake tube which inturn gets sucked into the intake manifold and burned off in the engine. Which is fine but a car burning oil isn't that great for it so, some people put a small filter on it so the engine can still breath(but the filter must be kept clean or the oil will leak though the fliter and make a mess in the engine bay) or you can install a setup like this. Which allows the engine to still breath though the intake but doesn't allow the oil that may spray out to find its way into the intake manifold.
I hope I explained well enough.
