Default New guy with some shots of the stook

Just got her less than a month ago. 65k miles and was in excellent condition - garage kept and well maintained. I've been loving every minute of every drive. Only done a few things so far - new HU, raised the seats a bit, new tires, and maintenance stuff. Now for the pics:

Really wanted to get some sunset shots - after all, what looks better than sunset shots of a black car? - but the weather since I washed/sealed has not been cooperating, so I had to compromise with morning shots. Middle of the day lighting is terrible for photo shoots. More pics (topless next time) at sunset soon.

Comments/critique welcome.

serious??? most people over 5'7" get aftermarket seats to lower the seating position. you must have a really short torso if you had to raise them.

Just put a bunch of fender washers under them and get longer bolts. Added bonus is that I used two different types of bolts for a small measure of theft protection. Front bolts are hex socket head, rear are normal hex. They're not exactly locks, but if a thief is expecting the standard bolts and doesn't bring a hex key, he's going home without my seats.

I didn't need to raise the seats. I wanted to raise them. A bit more in the back than the front. For 90% of the driving I do, I prefer a more roadster feel. It also lets me rest my arm on the door, because the standard arm rests are mostly worthless (read: they aren't flat - kinda the only thing an arm rest is supposed to be) and painful. I needed to do it on the passenger side anyway for my son, who needs to sit a little higher to fully see out of the car (he's almost 4) when we go for drives.

If and when I decide to track the car, I'll lower it again or get aftermarket shells. It's unnecessary for street driving.

What kind of Volks are these? They almost look like Rays Engineering G-games line and not their Volk line. Looks good.

Really dogging the wheels. Theyll look stock to most people but an enthusiast will be able to tell the difference plus respect them for being super clean.
