It does....its really cloudy out and the rest of the car is dirty and the front bumper is day old paint. I wouldnt have taken the car if the paint didnt match.

 

I have new wheels im working on right now. Im polishing the lips and powdercoating them black

looks like your car has about 4 different shades of gray.

I think its the lighting....It really doesnt look like that

 

I hate to say it but what you said wont matter, A lot of the times when the s2's are painted, well they run in a order of what ones get coloured first and just cause we all have the same paint code for same colour, doesnt mean its going to match. Like for example, gpw was normally done after spa (ap1) and thus, certain gpw's had a tad more eggshell then pure white (so Ive heard from many sources). I gave my bumper to my paint guy, has been doing A+ jobs for past 20 years, I got it back and it didnt match at all.

He had to redo it 2 more times till i was happy with it and even now, its not bang on but its damn, damn close

Best way to tell is to simple take many pics with and without flash and you will be able to see the diff or not.


Otherwise, front looks great, not a fan of sides or flares at all

 

like stated before, aftermarket sides on a S
standard offset rims, with asm fender flares

but your going in the right direction , will look GREAAT just lose the sides and get your new set of rims

 

Ill have to look at it again when the sun is out...

and why doesnt anyone like the sides? you tell me you dont like them but dont give a reason.... The way the ASM flares are designed if they are installed without a side skirt or even the j's side skirts they look unfinished and out of place. With side skirts i think they give them a more flowing characteristic.

 

The car looks great, with the exception of the Mugen sticker on the Seibon wing.

I like how the overfenders blend in nicely on silver cars. On other colors, the overfenders look like they are tacked on. On silver they look like they are more apart of the car.

Here's another opinion (not that it matters)...I'd say lose the cf mirror covers. I think they make the giraffe antler mirrors stand out from the car.

 

The ASM front looks really good, but the skirts hang too low IMO to line up well with the front.
